Rules for Retreat Programs at Anand Shikhar Sadhnalaya

- The Retreat facility is meant only for members of YSSI/SRF.
- The Ashram does not entertain non-members including children.
- The facility is not permissible for personal retreat to single lady devotee, in case there is no other devotee in the Ashram.
- In case of couple devotees, husband and wife shall stay in separate rooms except for senior citizens above 60 years of age and others with medical problem including physical disability.
- Devotees are requested to get themselves registered on their arrival with the care taker.
All the devotees are expected to observe “SILENCE” during the stay at Retreat. - Devotees should avoid visiting the room of fellow devotee.
- The sanctity of the altar in the rooms may please be maintained.
- All the devotees are requested to keep their rooms/ toilets neat and tidy.
- Simple food will be served to devotees. Nothing special will be served. Room service is not provided.
- Devotees will clean their personally used utensils themselves.
- If devotees want to offer ‘Prasad’ they are requested to bring fruits only.
- Use of Retreat as a “picnic spot/guest house” should be avoided because it is meant for serious meditation.
- There is no provision of stay for the driver accompanying the devotee(s).
- During the year, only four personal retreats at quarterly interval, maximum for a week’s period, are allowed.
- Maximum stay at the Ashram (Retreat) is seven days; extended stay could be up to 14 days with the proper permission from the Managing Committee.
- Devotees are requested to hand over the room keys to the caretaker before their departure.
